Our Sunday Morning Worship Includes:

8:00 AM - Uplifting Liturgical Worship -  This traditional service is filled with uplifting music, hymns and an inspirational message based upon the Word of God.  Come and get your faith renewed with God's fresh forgiveness, healing and transforming presence!

9:35 AM - Heart to Heart  Bible Study with Pastor Jess - Join us, during the children's Sunday School hour,  for an  informal gathering and Bible study in the Sanctuary. Following a time of opening praise and worship, Pastor Jess takes us on an interactive Bible study related to the sermon text for the day - with a goal to discover fresh insights for living in the rhythm of God's grace. A prayer ministry time at 10:30 follows the Bible study, for people with special needs. Every other week, Holy Communion is also offered at the Altar.  Check out the new blog from Pastor Jess for interesting topics discussed during this class.

11:00 AM - Convergence Worship - This is a blend of worship styles that combine aspects of the historic liturgy and contemporary renewal music.  As with the 8 AM Service, Holy Communion with individual cups is offered on the first and third Sundays of the month. Come as you are and experience the fresh blessing of God's Spirit in an uplifting manner!

Festive Easter Sunday-April 4^th

Plan to attend our first annual Easter Oratorio, written by Ray Kenetsky, our music director, and based on  Luke's recounting of the resurrection of Christ. This program also features a 25-piece orchestra and 20 voice choir.  There will be two services, the first at 8:00 am, and then at 11:00 am.  Come and hear the uplifting and inspirational message of Christ's victory over the power of sin and death. . 

 

Sunday School

9:30AM - Pre-K thru High School/ Kids learn that they are God's special and most loved creation and that He has a great plan for their lives. Through active participation and crafts, God's truth comes alive.

9:30AM Adults - Select from several classes including study of specific Books of the Bible and Christian parenting.

Youth Sunday Music School

9:30 AM - Calling All Youth! Join Ray Kenetsky our music director and "Soul Fyre" the new Youth Praise Band every Sunday. This program allows the youth to be musically involved with different genres of worship music. Young people are encouraged to bring their musical instruments and join in the fun!

Small Group Bible Studies

Connect with other Christians in a more relaxed setting by joining one of several small group Bible Studies.  We have active day and evening groups meeting both at Church and in local homes. Small Groups allow you to go deeper into God's Word and to develop lasting Christian friendships. Our Wednesday morning is a study of Psalms and meets at 10 AM  in the Fellowship Hall with Pastor Jess. Our Thursday evening is a devotional study over dinner at an area home with young singles and married couples.

Currently, we also have home Bible studies on Monday nights and Wednesday evenings. Call the Church office to locate the group that's right for you.

Youth Activities

Friday Faith and Fun (October thru May) - Every Friday afternoon from 4pm to 6pm kids K through 8th grade come together for music, crafts, fun activities and God's word.

Confirmation - Christianity 101 - "What Does this Mean?" - Friday afternoons, during part of the "Friday, Faith & Fun" gathering, Pastor Knauft offers a course on the basics of the Christian faith for 7th and 8th graders.  Call the church office for details and for enrollment information (310-540-4435).

Youth Groups - Our Youth Groups for 4th through 6th Graders, Junior High, and High School offer supervised outings and trips, as well as Christian Bible study. Call the church office for details.

High School Fellowship - We meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 5:00-6:30 PM at the Youth Room on the church campus. Develop Christian friendships and a relationship with Jesus that will last for all eternity. Call the church office for details.
